Tulsa is home for us — our shop is on South Peoria Avenue, so most Tulsa jobs get measured within a few days of your call and installed without a travel surcharge.
The housing here spans a century, and the window problems split roughly along that line. Older homes often have original wood sashes that have been painted shut, along with openings that are no longer square — both routine for us, and both reasons we measure every opening by hand rather than working from your numbers. Newer builds usually have builder-grade vinyl that has failed early, where you will see fogging between the panes.
Where we work in Tulsa: Midtown, Brookside, Maple Ridge, Florence Park, Kendall-Whittier, Swan Lake and South Tulsa.

A century of building
Midtown and the neighbourhoods around it went up largely between the 1920s and the 1950s, and a lot of them still carry their original wood sashes. After eighty years of repainting those are usually painted shut, the cords have gone, and the sills have taken on water. None of that is unusual and none of it is a problem — it is most of what we do.
What it does mean is that the openings have moved. A house that has been settling for eighty years is rarely square any more, and a window ordered to a number read off a tape over the phone will not sit in it properly. That is why we measure every opening by hand. South Tulsa is a different job again: newer construction, standard sizes, and usually builder-grade vinyl that has failed earlier than the owner expected.

No. Our shop is on South Peoria Avenue, so Tulsa is our home ground — there is no travel charge and we can usually get out to measure within a few days.
Usually, though the rules vary by district and some require the replacement to match the original profile. Tell us the district when you call and we will work it into the spec before anything is ordered.
No, and it is normal for a house of that age. It is the reason we measure by hand rather than working from your numbers — out-of-square openings get custom-sized units so the seal is even the whole way round.
It depends on the size, style and number of windows, so we do not quote blind. We come out, measure, and give you a written estimate for free — no obligation. 0% financing over 12 months is available with approved credit.
